Bahraini Victim of Torture in Custody of UK Border Agency
Isa Haider Al Aali , 19 years, was detained many times in Bahrain and since 2011 was targeted for his political activities and tried for three different cases. On 23rd March 2014 he was sentenced for 5 years.
Al Aali arrived to London Heathrow airport on 14 Feb 2014 and applied for political asylum in UK. Up to this date he is still in the Home Office custody awaiting their decision.
SALAM urges UK Home Office to consider his application on urgent basis, as it is ascertained that Al Aali will be in danger if his application is rejected.
We urge all human rights organizations to follow up the case and help to get Al Ali released.
