In the occasion of Human Rights Day

SALAM DHR: ‎The People of Bahrain had 70 Lean Years of Human Rights

As Bahrain has been a member of the United Nations since 21 September 1971, and since the member states of the United Nations have accepted the obligations contained in the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that affirms the commitment of the member states and the United Nations to ensure adherence and respect towards the human rights and fundamental freedoms. Therefore, The United Nations and member states must put pressure on the Government of Bahrain to stop the crimes against humanity and the grave violations committed against its people who are demanding freedom and their legitimate rights.

Salam for Democracy and Human Rights, take this opportunity in the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to remind the Government of Bahrain of this declaration and tell the government that they have international and human commitments that should not be breached, and all kinds of violations in all degrees are condemned, and whoever committed these violations should be held responsible locally and internationally.  And reimbursing the victims is mandatory by law and human nature, and they are parts of the government responsibilities based on the local and international law and should not be lapsed.

On this anniversary, we salute the entire humanity aspiring to freedom and human dignity, aspiring to a prosperous future of rights and freedoms, and to all organizations and institutions defending the human rights with sincerity and courage without discrimination. We also assure the victims of the people of Bahrain that we stand by them, support and defend them. The people who has strengthened its human rights culture by practice and behavior.

We call upon the Government of Bahrain to be courageous and serious in reforming and addressing the dark human reality and not to escape and denial the calls of the Human Rights Council, the Universal Periodic Reviews recommendations and the recommendations of BICI report, and to take serious and practical steps to prove its seriousness in correcting its human rights behavior.
