2018 saw the human rights situation in Bahrain go from bad to worse. From the sharp spike in the use of the death penalty and citizenship revocations, to the prison sentences upheld against leading political leader Sheikh Ali Salman and human rights defender Nabeel Rajab, the level of repression reached new lows.

Come along to the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and hear a panel of expert speakers discuss the deteriorating human rights situation in Bahrain and cast an eye at what may be in store for 2019.
